Nashville DA Glenn Funk’s office is at the center of an investigation on eavesdropping on defendants and their defense teams. In this investigation, attorney Ben Powers and an investigator were captured in footage in the DA’s office as they reviewed evidence in the Calvin Atchison case.

Ben Powers filed a motion to to remove the DA Funk’s office from the case, and a judge has delayed the Calvin Atchison trial to look into the allegations against the DA.
