The search for Riley Strain, who disappeared in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 8, 2024, which garnered national attention transformed into a death investigation when his body was found in the Cumberland River two weeks after his disappearance. An initial autopsy by the Davidson County Medical Examiner found no signs of foul play. However, the family of Riley Strain ordered a private autopsy to be conducted in search of answers to unanswered questions and due to facts that don’t appear to add up to a “no foul play” conclusion.
