At a scheduling hearing, a heated exchange occurred between prosecutor Glenn Funk and Ben Powers. The DA objected strongly to this hearing stating it “should not carry any weight”.
The upcoming hearing will look into allegations on the DA’s office secretly recorded defense teams, and its affect on defendant cases, including the Calvin Atchison murder trial.
